As a measure to address the rapidly spreading dengue epidemic, a 'Shramadana' (voluntary community labor) campaign was held at the Sethsiripaya complex in Battaramulla. Officials from the institutions under the Ministry of Rural Development, Social Security, and Community Empowerment—which is located within the complex—joined together to clean the office premises.

Here, Mr. Dhammika Muthugala, Director General of the Department of  Samurdhi Development, along with other department officials, are seen engaged in cleaning the Sethsiripaya premises.
